I made a display for beloved Brooklyn comic book store 'Desert Island' in Williamsburg.

Desert Island is near to where I live so I've seen lots of great window displays there over the last 8 years. I probably shouldn't have spent so much time making the display (it took weeks!) but I wanted to make something befitting such a cool shop. When your neighborhood is rapidly turning into a generic city, with Starbucks and Chase Banks on every corner I think it's important to celebrate independent retailers.
